Components, as their name suggests, are descriptions used to create component structures within equipment. Their creation and use are not mandatory; rather, they serve to complement and detail the structure of a particular type of equipment.
From Entities > Components > Create, complete the required fields for each record:
- Type: These are parameters that can be generated from the quick access menu in the Type field or from Settings > Parameters > Create > Parameter Type = Component Type. Their function is to group and/or classify similar components.
- Name: the name or description of the component in question
