In consumer evolution, an asset is understood to be any physical entity on which it is possible to record work associated with different types of maintenance during its life cycle.
By going to Entities > Assets > Create, you can generate a new record
Within Consuman Evolution you can choose to register:
- Teams
- Tools (the option is enabled when loading Equipment)
- Locations
- Warehouses (defined as a type of Location)
To create locations, it is mandatory to determine:
- Type: These are parameters generated from the quick access menu of the Type field or from Settings > Parameters > Create > Parameter Type = Location Type. It groups locations with similar characteristics.
- Location: within the company (see Settings > Global Settings)
- Name: The name or description of the location to be created
- Manage stock: only enabled for warehouses
What is the difference between location and storage?
To create teams, you must complete the following:
- Type: These are parameters generated from the quick access menu in the Type field or from Settings > Parameters > Create > Parameter Type = Equipment Type. It groups equipment with similar characteristics.
- Name: The name or description of the equipment in question
- Location: Where it is located within the company (see Settings > Global Settings)
- It's a tool: it's only enabled for tool creation.

These are the basic and mandatory data that every asset creation must include.
Additionally, from Field Configuration, for both equipment and locations, additional fields can be configured optionally or mandatorily by equipment type and location.
Why can't I create entities or import Excel files?
